This page shows whether major Australian DNS services are responding and how quickly they reply. ISP DNS addresses listed here are generally NSW/Sydney resolver endpoints unless otherwise noted. Some providers may use a secondary resolver in Melbourne or another nearby capital city for redundancy and regional routing.

If your internet stops working and your provider’s DNS appears unavailable here, you can often restore access by manually changing your device or router to use a public DNS service such as Cloudflare (1.1.1.1 / 1.0.0.1) or Google DNS (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4).

Slow or failed responses can suggest a DNS issue, outage, maintenance event, or routing problem, but do not always mean the whole internet service is down. Status results on this page are refreshed hourly and are intended as a simple community reference only.
